A reccee trip to The Seafarer Restaurant was conducted on Saturday 13th September. The location selection commitee consists of Seng Chye , Henry , Rajesh ,Ivan , Chin Sim and I had confirmed the booking for our reunion dinner.

Located next to the sea , the huge restaurant had a newly built jetty cum dining area is an ideal place for the upcoming reunion. We were entertained by sound of waves breaking and the ambience was cool and relaxing . The restaurant owner Michael and his wifey were present and had us entertained with their warm reception ala Peranakan style. In summary the whole affair was HILARIOUS !

An Afternoon With Mr Chua Cheng Chye

Recently discharged from the Hospital , our former headmaster of ACS Primary seems to be doing fine although his memory lapsed and his speech is almost inaudible , nevertheless we somehow able to understand him. He is now under good care of the maids in the Graceful Nursing Home in Klebang. He was given a big kiss on the cheek by one pretty maid while we were there , way to go Sir!!!

Currently Simon Wong's ( ex primary classmate ) father, Mr Wong Swee Lim who was also our primary English/Chapel Class teacher is on regular twice daily visit.

Two other senior MACSians ie Chua Beng Own ( Class of 1970 ) and Bong Yau Meng ( Class of 1983, the elder brother of Bong Yau Biow our classmate of 1985 ) had joined me in the visit.
I took some photos to share with you guys. Any of you wish to visit him can call or email me for arrangement.

Mr Chua wants ice cream for dessert hehe.

Lest We Forget - Jalil 1967 - 2008

Fellow Macsians ,
Please be informed that I received a phone call from our fellow Macsian 85' Rahim Kueh Badak with the news of Jalil's recent demise (2 months ago ) . He had a heart attack . Here's a tribute to our fellow Macsian and fond memories of him.

I have known Jalil since Form 3 , he came in as a retain student from the Class of '84 . However he made it through while he was with our class Form 3B. In Form 4 he was made a School Prefect. The huge fellow was always jovial and never fail to give assistance when needed. Very active in voluntary work , especially during the school repainting project while some of us would shy away from the painting task and fooling around .
After school , he joined the Malaysian Police Force and attached to the Federal Reserve Unit. Not much heard about him until Rahim called today.

'' May he rest in peace "

Any of you want to share fond memories or short messages , kindly send me via email or click on the comment to add your entries.

Message From Kua Kong Chuan - 3rd June
